I love the illustrations by the fine artist and the wonderful depictions of the characters. Clever names and actions to bring forth the message of healthy emotional balance in children and in everyone for that matter. I have given this as gifts to youngsters but kept one for me too because this book presents lessons we can hear over and over. Highly recommend it to children of all ages and stages.

My daughter received this book and wanted to leave a review for the author…
In the Land of In-Between a new fairy is soon to arrive. Twig wonders if he’ll have brother or sister. He tells Raven they better be brave…
The Land of In-Between is a sweet, short, read meant for children but can be easily be enjoyed by an older audience. The characters celebrate differences, never judging one another for them. The story touches on that even though the family is about to get a new member, that doesn’t mean parents won’t love their other kids any less. The illustrations are full of color and beautiful. Although this isn’t my typical read, I enjoyed it.

It’s cool that each character is three dimensional and they aren’t just there as extensions of the main characters.
